Portfolio - Silver Spurs
This website features:
- Coded entirely in PHP to make the website more easily maintainable
- Dynamic design - content drawn from a MySQL database
- A Google-friendly site structure to facilitate SEO
- Open Graph meta tags on every page of the site
- CSS fonts using the @font-face system
- E-mail addresses viewable and clickable but hidden from spambots using a bespoke Javascript obfuscation technique
- Bespoke PDF entry forms
- A simplistic online entry system to enter the competition which creates and sends an email and redirects to Paypal
This was the seventh of the websites I designed for Dressage Ireland and was created to replace the Silver Spurs page on the Dressage Ireland website.
For a short time it was transformed into DIY - the “Dressage Ireland Youthclub” and contained a few features which were later dropped from the final version, such as a blog for young riders living and working abroad, and a gallery.
The domain is still active but the website no longer exists.
